Customizable card options and effortless card management at your fingertips
We’ve introduced a new card option that allows you to get more control over your business expenses – Fixed Value Cards. These are pre-funded Bento cards suitable for per-diems or one-off spend requests.
To simplify your card experience, the standard Bento cards you use today will continue to function in the same way, but will now be called Spend Limit Cards.
With these two great card options, we’re giving you complete control and flexibility to create and use these cards in a manner that suits your business needs to the tee.
Spend Limit Cards
Fixed Value Cards
Product Type
- Your current Bento card with a new name
- New pre-funded Bento card
Spend Limits
- Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Custom Spend limits
- Spend limits reset automatically
- Spend is limited by the amount that is loaded on each card. You can manually add or remove funds from each card at any time
Funds
- All cards share the funds available in the primary Bento account
- Each card is preloaded with dedicated funds
Card Controls
- All existing Bento card controls are available
- All existing Bento card controls are available

- Available as Physical or Virtual cards

Suggested Use Cases
- Corporate, purchasing, or T&E cards. Use these as your primary cards
- Per Diems, Vendor Management, or one-off spend requests
Transactions, Tags, Notes
- All card transaction details will be visible in the Transactions tab
- Can augment transactions: tags, notes, accounting field coding, etc
- Only card fund load/unload transactions will be visible in the Transactions tab
- Detailed transactions can be viewed by clicking on each card in the Cards tab
- Cannot augment transactions
Receipts
- Can add receipts
- Cannot add receipts
Accounting Sync & Reconciliation
- Card transactions will reflect in the monthly statements and will be available for accounting sync and reconciliation
- Card transactions will NOT reflect in the monthly statements and will be available for accounting export/integration. Statements will only reflect card funding transactions
