September 13 is the International Day of the Programmer. It falls on the 256th day of the year because 256 distinct values can be represented with an 8-bit byte—so it’s a little programmer’s joke.
At Bento for Business, we are all for honoring programmers, because they are responsible for making our products work and responding to many of our customer requests. We honor our customers’ programmers, too: many customers use our API to integrate payments into other business processes that they have, and we appreciate how their hard work makes things easier at their companies.
We hire programmers, on the Day of the Programmer and many other days during the year. If you would like to know more about working as a programmer at Bento for Business, check out our recent profile on Built-In Chicago.
Thanks for all your hard work!
